Gym Vs Gym Endurance Run

Tired of treadmills? Bored with bicep curls? It may be time to scale a wall, climb a cargo net and get as muddy as you can! If you are after a fun, awesome and different workout that cultivates your endurance, strength and agility then Bootneck Challenge has it covered!

So, for all your competitive gym goers out there Bootneck Challenge is proud to announce the Gym Vs Gym endurance run at 11 am on Saturday 18th of February is a go. If you are interested in running for your gym against other gyms this is right up your competitive street.

The rules are simple:

  • The competition is over 5km and starts at 11am
  • The Gym Vs Gym wave has a limit of 160 runners…..so be quick.
  • Each gym team has a limit of 20 runners,Each gym team must have a mix of male and female runners who want a competitive edge to their run
  • To win : The first 3 females and first 3 males across the line from each team to ring a big old loud bell….wins!!! Simple.

What can you expect on the day?  Bootneck Challenge is a 5km/10km muddy obstacle race, designed by former Royal Marines. The course has been created to emulate the Commando tests including “Bottom Field” and the “Endurance Run”. It is achievable for everybody, and unless you are on a competitive wave you can attempt less harder obstacles ….or run around. But be careful, if a Royal Marine see’s you, you might get beasted…… So, don’t get caught!

What do you get?

  •  No matter what wave or distance or day, everybody that takes part will get our weighty original medal, a great Bootneck challenge t-shirt and the satisfaction of conquering a course designed by former Royal Marines Commandos.
  • The winning team will also get a massive winners certificate for the gym and an even more massive team photo to display in your gym so you can point yourself out to everyone ........whether they want to see or not!!

However, if you still want to test yourself and have a fantastic day filled with a mix of fun and exercise, we would welcome you at any time or distance. Remember we have designed this for everyone to enjoy.

Bootneck Challenge is being held on the 18th and 19th of February at the Grange Farm equestrian centre near wittering Peterborough. It is a beautiful site that will have a great OCR course.

At Bootneck Challenge is an experience of being in the Royal Marines and to have some muddy FUN. It is not a recruitment test!!

If you want more information just talk to your gym manager / team captain for details and discounts.
