My first race was Survival of the Fittest back in 2012 – I absolutely loved it. The camaraderie of the event was amazing.
I’ve always kept reasonably fit but never enjoyed running. The great thing about OCR is that whatever the distance, it’s broken up by the ‘fun stuff’ (to me, anyway!).
So for the past few years I’ve done more functional training and Boot Camp style workouts alongside my usual gym sessions, which has helped enormously.
